Old San Juan
On our last day we braved the rain to tour around Old San Juan to understand and appreciate the history of the island. University Collaboration & Community Work
The focus of this program was to integrate local community service projects with a collaboration with TRIO students from Universidad de Sagrado Corazon in San Juan. For two days, GCU and Sagrado students worked together on local community projects that included cleaning up houses for local non-profit organizations to be used by families being displaced

El Yunque Rainforest
“Yesterday, we experienced Puerto Rico’s breathtaking views from the top of Caimitillo Yunque. This rainforest, with its unique landscape and wildlife, allowed us to become one with nature. After our hike, we dived into El Riogrande to cool off before heading back to the hostel to prepare for our last dinner here in San Juan.”
