Our experience on this trip today was very scenic and exciting. We began the day by traveling across the road to visit a gorgeous mountain stop, at this location was a bakery. We had the opportunity to grab some delicious treats and coffee, the food here is very fresh and delicious on the stomach. Today was extremely special as we got to see Iceland’s beautiful rare birds, the PUFFINS!!! They are adorable birds that look slightly like a penguin with a very vibrant orange beak. After that, we visited the black sand beach and plenty of waterfalls. The best part about the water falls is they are accompanied by a fantastic rainbow. This was definitely a breath taking moment for us to be able to experience this with the unexpected beautiful warm weather. Finally, to end our day we went to a local pool to cooled off, had a delicious dinner, and discussed our favorite experiences from the trip so far!
