Studying abroad was an amazing experience. It truly expanded my global perspective, enhanced my independence, and increased my knowledge on education. I was extremely upset to leave South Africa because it quickly became my home. SIT really did an awesome job showing us the various different aspects of the culture in South Africa. The Georgian Court Staff guided the trip and created a great atmosphere to learn and enjoy ourselves. They helped us reflect on our time in a natural, conversational way, which really benefited us all. Now that I have been back in the United States for a few weeks I have truly realized the value of studying abroad. You truly have to experience it to understand. The lessons that I have learned, the friends that I have made, and the memories I will have forever are invaluable, and I believe everyone should strive to experience studying abroad with GCU.
