A Glimpse of Czech Republic

Prague

Hannah Koutishian, studying abroad this January in Prague, Czech Republic, shares some recent sites from her time abroad.
By: Hannah Koutishian We took a trip to the town of Pilsen to see the brewery where the Pilsner Urquell beer is originally made. We were able to take a walking tour around Pilsen and head to the cellars to taste the beer unfiltered from its source! There are also photos from Strahov Monastery and Library where one of our CIEE professors was able to take us on a tour of the library in areas that would be otherwise inaccessible. Due to the library being founded in 1140, tours are limited in order to preserve the integrity of the books as well as the hand-painted murals on the ceilings. The last picture is the view from our school when leaving from class at night. These last two weeks have been an amazing and culturally enriching experience that I’m incredibly grateful for. These locations are a must-see!
