We arrived safely to Puerto Rico! We took a walk through San Juan, where we saw the beach, beautiful art, and historical buildings. One building we saw was a school that we learned was taken away (along with over 800 others in 2016) from residents of San Juan. The community came together to fight for the school back and now it is a community-run cultural center for classes like art, music, and gardening. They even recycle and compost for the community!
