Masaya

We toured two active volcanos in Masaya today.  At the Museum, there were many young girls in long colorful dresses dancing, this was in celebration of Women’s day.

We also visited the Mercado for a few hours, and met a few locals

This was his pet.. named Pollo (Chicken)
We also visited this pottery master, Pedro Guerrero..he has traveled the world to teach others. He is a fourth generation potter and has also taught his two sons the trade. He opened his home to us and most of us purchased his work
